Coders Cafe - 08/13/2015 - Cendyn Spaces, Boca Raton - 6:30 PM - Advanced AI with Project Teddy - David Crook - Microsoft Technical Evangelist

Two technical evangelists on a quest to build an open domain conversational engine, code named: Project Teddy. Project Teddy uses crowd sourced annotations of twitter conversations, Hadoop, Azure, Machine Learning, MVC, F#, C# and embedded systems. This presentation gives an overview of project Teddy in its current state, where it is going and insights discovered. We will walk through the architecture and show off some of the code.

David is a Microsoft Technical evangelist based in Pompano Beach, Florida. As a technical evangelist, David primarily focuses on technical presentations leveraging the Microsoft Stack focused on data analytics and machine learning. David also sits on the board of advisors at Wake Tech, where he was an adjunct professor for 1 year. Prior to becoming an evangelist, David was a developer consultant with Microsoft Consulting Services where he was an ALM Ranger and focused on Development Operations with Hybrid Data Centers and Agile Methodologies.
